Less strict in summer, more strict in winter?

now let me start off by saying im not bitching about mods, you guys are doing good.

but, i think that during the summer, the mods should let more stuff go. i mean we dont have skiing to talk about so how about letting some of the "pointless" threads survive. we get bored and need something to talk about. now in the winter i think they should crack down more being the main focus is skiing and progressing. what do you guys think?

no, because during the winter everyone is in a good mood. every spring, we lose snow, people stop skiing, and everyone gets bitchy. Then the mods rise to the occasion, and do a good job, which gets looked at as being too strict, when they actually are saving the e-ass of NS

I actually agree with him. If there's no skiing to talk about there are definitely going to be some more pointless threads. You should just let joke threads like "Can You Spracerize Me" or "TJ Schiller Signs with Roxy" go, solely for the entertainment factor for those non-skiing months.

There are plenty of ways to be entertained on here in the summertime without having to resort to pointless threads. There are different forums for a reason; just because something is in NSG and it's the summertime, it doesn't mean it has to be absolutely pointless. There's a difference between non-ski related threads that are interesting/intriguing/amusing/thought provoking/educational and those that are pointless and have no substance. The mods are fine as they are.
