Blocked sites at school? not anymore.

I bet a ton of you already know this but if you go to a school or your workplace that has sites that are blocked.. like NS for example.

you can type in your browser www.hidemy.info

if this wasn't blocked which it shoulnd't be then you can go to the browser on that site and type in your blocked site and voila net surfing blocked sites at school and work!

another site that is similar is www.allaboutabe.com
then you can press the picture of abe lincoln to get past the firewall. it looks like an educational american history resource site but reall it isn't.

I hope I helped those who didn't know about this out!

damn i wish i knew about this when i was in HS, NS was never blocked but alot of other stuff was, it would have been sick to check my ebay and shit

only a couple of all of them posted worked for me at school...my school blocks sites with hacking, proxies, and whatever other ones that they see fit

i go to boarding school and i use it a lot
im sure they will end up blocking it but it seems like theres a lot of sites like that
i also use www.meebo.com to get onto aim during the day when they block it

You can just download Firefox onto a school computer and download on of the plugins for free that lest you go to those sites.

at my school, the tech guys have this maaaddd firewall that automatically blocks all proxy sites (it can tell if its a proxy site cuz those sites have like special signatures or something), and yeah it blocks them all, as well as all e-trade sites (e-bay, etc), all game sites (pretty self explanitory), and a bunch of others, not to mention a whole lot of individual sites that the tech guys see kids going onto alot during class time.

NS used to be blocked too, but i went into IT and asked them why they blocked it, and they thought it was some game site (they didn't look to see it was a ski site, they just saw www.newschoolers.com on a list of websites gone to at school that day). Anyway, then i just asked if they could unblock it, and they did. Now I have it again, and I'm happy. YouTube is still blocked though... :(

took me forever but i finally found a proxy that works at our school and this one works where none of the other ones in this thread do at my school..

our school uses the st. benard web blocker. and teachers can put in their user names and passwords to over ride restrictions to any web site. but what most people dont know is that YOUR user name and password works too. any student in my school can just put in their username and pass and get to any site.

i can go on basically anything at my school. but in the library i was on NS just browsing, minding my own business. the librarian comes over and tells me she can see my comp screen through her computer and to get off. i say okay, and don't. she says if you don't get off you can leave. i said it's just a ski site. she said i don't care what it is you won't waste computer time in my library (i am the only one in there) so i say whatever and leave. not allowed in the library the rest of the year.

well i would try this..but i thinhk a bunch of kids got called to the office for getting caught..and plus i cant because i got kicked out of the library today for playing games hahah i was in a trance when playing roll on and the librarian snuck her bitch ass up behind me and kicked me out for the next two weeks haha
