I am trying to post a video on youtube but it is in widescreen. what do i need to do in order to post it. Does it have to be formated a certain way?

I don't think it matters... just upload it and see if it works, if it doesn't, delete it.

Honestly i'm not entirely sure how youtube's compression works but if you compress it/save it yourself on your editor in wide screen it ought to maintain the ratio.

just upload it...itll like be smaller and have black under and above it...but it'll be in widescreen
