it this camera ligit for takeing good sequences and what not?

For sequences you need at least 5fps. That spec was unavailable from Sony or anywhere else.

They're called battery grips now, but in the olden days when we used to shoot film there was actually a motor drive you could stick on the bottom of some cams to shoot faster.

you do know its not an SLR right?
the view finder is a little video screen(which sucks), not an slr.
waste of money, but a digital slr.
nikion d100 to d 40 is a safe best bet.
buy used.

DSLRs that are good for sequences:
20D
30D
Mark II,III
D200
D2XS
D2HS

D40, D50, D70, D80, Rebels, 5D, 1DS are not fast enough for a good sequence.

I thought the 30D only shot like 3.5 fps? or am I thinking of the Rebel...

30D does 5fps, the rebels do 2.5 or 3.
