BC skiers vs Park skiers = bullsh*t

haha i keep reading these threads about kids hating bc or hating park,well NS, kids are about to start throwing down so hard in bc, with all the progression in the park, it will start overflowing into the bc because thats the only place that u can hit once in a life time, natural features that ull never get to see or hit in the park. that is CREATIVITY and thats why snowboarders are ahead of skiers
but these kids wont just ski bc, they will hit dope urban (which many older pros have stopped), also hit huge park jumps and session pipe. those are the best skiers, the ones who got it all.
let the hating begin....
p.s. there is also soft fluffy powder in the bc

Haha, thanks. Maybe someday you will realize that we should all like skiing for what it means to us rather than bitching about the small differences between what we all enjoy.
And as for moderator or whatever you may think I want to be, above all, I'm myself. I really dont care if I'm a mod or not, I'm just going to contribute my view as a skier to this community.

i presume you are making some smart ass attempt at testing east coasters knowledge of avalanche danger by asking them some question (can't tell what exactly because of your shitty english) about burried surface hoar and depth hoar. Please don't make us west coasters look like conceited assholes by phrasing a question like this (Hey kids!). of course they might not know what the fuck you are talking about because they don't need to know. no need to make a point of it.
if this wasn't a serious stab at them and it was just a joke, then
your mom is the best type of hoar in the BC

Heh, I would honestly have to think a while before accepting, even if I was promoted. Its a lot of responsibility, and I know a lot of other members who are much more devoted to the site and to skiing. But in all seriousness, who wouldnt have recommendations for the website they spend half their day on?
But honestly, Grnarskier, if you think all I say is influenced because I want to be me a mod... you're a moron. How the hell is "Lets just get along" promoting me in any way? If you seriously think that message is just for me to 'get ahead' in site reputation or something, please question your mentality and why you participate in our sport.

being from Wisconsin where we got like 40" of snowfall this past winter and how nearly all the snow we ski is man made, oh and the fact that the hill I ski on is 400 feet tall, BC is hard to come by. Actually.. it doesn't even exist! The most pow i've skiied is like 4 inches on top of a icy "groomed" trail. But I would be more than happy to ski some BC with you spriggs if you bought me a plane ticket haha

What I don't get is why many east coast kids have skis that are 110 underfoot for skiing in Breck 1 week a year.

If you honestly think that I'm here to win the popularity contest, then go fuck yourself.
And Gnarslayr, you can definitely go fuck yourself.

i love all these people that are hating on Rowen... you obviously have no idea how much knowledge he carries and shares with the rest of the NS community. I've been around here for about 2 years now(member #'s don't mean shit) and in no way does he try to play it off and shit to become a mod. I have absolutely no clue how you could even come to a conclusion like that about him.

how many times have you been skiin the fluffy stuff. cause when you are, you ussually arent thinking about how you alone can progress the sport. i mean sure BC jibs are sick but then again you could say "thats been done, its not progressing the sport". and if you are in such a huge hurry to progress the sport of skiing for everyone, go ahead, no ones stopping you. dont relie on other people to do stuff that you wanna see be done, let them ski how and what they want to.
