Best $400 video camera

My parents are buying me a graduation present, and i figure they will spend about 200 on it and i have 200 to spend, so what is a good camera to invest in, i just want to use if for skiing edits and maybe some longboarding edits, nothing too professional but also high quality

canon optura 20. best camera you can get for that price. itll cost you probably under 300 too so you have money to accessorize

what about like a gs180, i'm not sure on the price but if its around 400, how do the two compare, because i have heard that 3ccd's is the way to go

Either the Arriflex 16 s/b with varimotor and the Angenieux 5.9mm lens with the Angenieux 12-120mm telephoto lens package
