This is basically what our mountain thinks about skiing.Ok, so i was recently informed that my mountain next year is having two of their peaks PARK ONLY. I was very stoked on hearing this, until i was informed that it will be SNOWBOARDERS ONLY!! This is when i took matters into my own hands and wrote this email to a guy from Intrawest who owns our mountain.....
Hello there, My name is Jason Evans, and i am 17 years old, and a freeskier at Mountaincreek. I am one among the many freeskiers at Mountaincreek. Our sport is becoming more and more popular each year. From the first time i clicked into my first twin tip skis three years ago, there was only a handful of us. But since then, there are more than i can count to sliding the rails, and hitting the jumps at creek all season long. I was informed that next year, South and Bear peak will be all park, and i was very excited on hearing this news becuase i thought "Great, no more taking "old betsy" all the way to granite then ski over to vernon for the park there." Then i heard some very disturbing news, that South will be for snowboarders only. To me, and to the many other freeskiers at Mountaincreek, this is devastating. Where are we supposed to enojoy ourselves now at Mountaincreek? With no more park for us to ski, we will most likely not go to Mountaincreek anymore. I am on a skiing internet forum, and in the forum there are a total of 208 freeskiers who ski at Mountaincreek. If this is true about park only at south, and only snowboarders allowed there, what will the 208 of us do? Thank you for reading this letter of concern. Cannot wait to hear back from you. Thank you.
- Jason Evans
What else is there i can do about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is a Email I just got from them.
Thank you for your email. I just want to clarify that snowboarders definitely don’t have the park all to themselves. The terrain parks are open to all skiers and riders who have completed the park pass program. I realize that probably most of that demographic is snowboarders but we are most definitely not excluding skiers.
Our terrain park patrons (both snowboarders and free skiers) are growing at such a rate that our current terrain park acreage simply was not enough. Our beginner terrain is also located at Vernon, of which the majority is snowboarders, and when you combine terrain park crowds with beginners, it’s not a great guest situation. Much of the expert terrain at Vernon was crossing over beginner terrain. With this change, we will have four trails that are again open to intermediate skiers and riders. The skiers and riders who are not into terrain parks will be able to enjoy Vernon and Granite peaks much more. I think that changes at South will make Vernon and Granite a more enjoyable place for intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders alike.

Youre an idiot. They would never close half of the mountain to skiers. They had a shitty season last year, why would the make a horrible business move like that and even further put them into bankruptcy
