FS: 2006 Santa Cruz Heckler

I just bought this bike last September and it has about 500 miles on it so far. I have taken care of this bike with regular maintenance including bleeding the brakes and re-greasing the pivot. The component specs are as follows:

Frame: Large 2006 Santa Cruz Heckler with DHX coil (350# spring)
Fork: 2007 36 VAN RC2
Brakes: 2006 Juicy 7 (203F, 185R)
Shifters: SRAM X-9
Rear Der.: SRAM X-9
Front Der.: Shimanno XT
Cranks: Truvativ Stylo
Cassette: SRAM PG-980 11-34
Handlebars: Race Face Atlas
Stem: Race Face Evolve 90mm
Headset: Cane Creek S-3
Seat Post: Thomson
Saddle: WTB Pure V
Front wheel: Sun Singletrack rim, Sun hub (not sure on hub)
Rear wheel: Mavic 321, DT 340 hub
Front tire: 2.5" Stick-E Kenda Nevegal--Kevlar (2.35 may be optional)
Rear tire: 2.35" DTC Nevegal


The tires are new and I will include a blue spring for the fork, a 400# spring for the shock, a spare drive-side dropout (brand new), Candy C pedals, and a 70mm Diablous stem if you want. $3,814 from Santa Cruz stock, but I've put on bigger brakes, better brake pads, DH tubes, and a bashguard.  With a the new tires taken into consideration I probably have around $4,100 invested into this bike.  And half the time it's been used for commuting because I don't have a ton of time to ride anymore.

what kind of riding did you do.. im guessing downhill but it looks like a decent xc frame kinda. but im broke, sick rig though, i remember you telling us when you got it

I went to Big Sky to go downhilling once, but we left after 3 runs because my friend's Giant Team DH broke.  So all I've really done on it is trail riding and commuting.  It's definitely overkill for XC, but for fast, bumpy trails it is amazing.

o man that is such a sick bike. i got to ride one of these up in maine for 2 days and its amazing. Wish i had some money to throw around at a new bike... but im just going to have to rent at highland this year. some one should jump on this

It's right around 32-32.5 lbs with DH tubes, Candy C pedals, and 2.35" Nevegals.  To top it off, I can climb more stuff on this bike than I ever could with my XC bike.
