take her skiing, if she can't out ski you or at least keep up decently there is no point and the relationship will eventually blow out and fail madly.  So you may as well find out if she can pull her weight on the hill. Otherwise all bets are off.

On another note a late evening walk on the beach  after tea and some munchies is probally prime.

No, take her somewhere nice, like for pizza, but make sure you know where your mates are (and its somehwere fun) so if it ends up going really awkward, then you can take her there and act surprised that your mates are there.
If its going fine, take her somewhere else (see above suggestions)
