Ok so I stumbled upon a group of these under a rock I "was" going to move.

I have never seen anything like it before, and it moved in the most awkward ways, it immediately reminded me of that contortionist chick from Ju-On.

Figured I'd up it here cus it's simply too cool to just sit on my mem card.

oh and it was about 2 inches long. I was freaked out enough putting the cam so close to it to get the pic, so I wasn't able to get an actual reference shot.

There where three of them, one hastily retreated into a hole in the ground, the other curled up and did nothing, that one was just like wtf someone fucked up my house.

They where all in cocoons of some kind or something and when I lifted the rock it tore them. Kinda sucks, but I am glad because I never have seen something quite as unique as these before, let alone in my backyard.

that would be tight for sure. I am posting it on a bug forum to try and get it classified. I looked at the pic in depth, and it seems that this thing has no eyes, so I am very curious to know if it spends it's life under rocks hunting with other senses.

It's actually called a woodlouse spider, which is fitting given it's often times found in rotted wood or under rocks. word.

and it is harmless to humans, so yeh I might have to play with it lols.
