what do you think is the best place to ski during the northern hemisphere's summer?

skiing in nz is sick when there is snow for free ridign hit up,Teh club fields,Treblecone and the Remarks and ohau is sick too.. Go heli skiing At mt Potts ... forparl snowpark (if you likea million seppos and japs mixed with every profromevery corner of theworld lining up to ride pipe...... and Cardrona, also remarks park is fun... for partying hit up Queenstownon a good night the place goes off ..

Treble cone, Snowpark, Cardrona, Mt.Ruapehu. Anywhere really. there are some cool club mountains in the south island that are cheap and have good BC

This is me up treble cone last season. Shame my gf cropped the photo coz otherwise you'd see just how awesome the view is, loads of lakes and mountains. I mean, that day right there was probably the most awesome views I've ever seen and yes I have been out of NZ.

As for park skiing, Cardrona has 2 HUGE halfpipes and plenty of everything else... my local is Turoa/Whakapapa (pron "fuckapapa"), they take their parks pretty serious too so it's all good.

For visitors though, you MUST go to Queenstown, Wanaka and most of all Cardrona.

If you're only in the North Island, Turoa's ski village/town is called Ohakune and it's quite hard party :p

GO to wanaka, it slike 40 minutes away from queenstown and snowpark is right there, cardrona has a pretty dope park, TC is awesome for all sorts of cool shit. And you can hit jumps with the lake in the background. Its pretty busy though, everyone knows about it now. shoulda sked this question 3 or 4 years ago.
