Storing stuff in calculators

I have a ti 83 plus and i want to know how to store formulas and stuff in it

i think you can save it as a program or there is some way of storing them on your ram.... cant exactly recall how but its a 2nd option on one of the keys that lets you keep it there for later use

ok, you:
1. go to programs, and create a new one
2. once you're in the new program that you're making, push the program button again and a whole bunch of shit will come up with like three different categories at the top
3. i can't remember which category it is, but just look through them all until you see a thing that says "DISP"
4. select DISP
5. then, after DISP is in the program thing, put in a " and then type up your formula and end it with another "
6. then quit the program
7. you can enter the program now and push enter and it should display the formula

Create a new program, and when it asks you to input the stuff to make the program just write the notes, formulas, or whatever you need. When you need to look at them go to the the program then choose edit. That's what we do.

Hahaha! I stored all sorts of shit in my graphical calculator and for some reason they let me into an exam with it. In terms of formulas, exams will give you a formula sheet so you dont need to store them. Its things like definitions that are pretty important.
Basically you go into the 'progam' menu and write a program of text and save it. Easy meat.
Most examiners will confiscate programmable calculators before hand though.

the problem with that though is if your in college some times they will plug in a probe and clean your entire ram and archive so that you cant store unacceptable shit on it

shit put everything in there.
so easy to cheat with also.
last year stole math final exam, put in multiple choice answers. 96%

1.go to programs and scroll over to create new program or something like that
2.enter whatever you want
3.quit the program
4.use it to cheat on the test
it works every time

yeh i was gona do that for my maths exam, but i got 26% in a prelimnary exam...so i didnt go lol. i planned on going and playing the games you get on the graphic calculators. BLOCK DUDE!

if you're aloud to take a graphics calc in then they are most likely going to be clearing the memory before you enter the room anyway, don't waste your time trying to programme formulas, just do some more study, you'll probably be given a formula sheet anyway
