Help! reformatting photos from jpeg to gif or jpg

ok, i tried searchbarring but yeah, basically what the title says. is there an easy and free way to reformat jpeg images to gif or jpg?

Are you serious?

Open the image in paint, go to file->save as... and then just choose a different format.
