Dell monthly payment plan

im gonna be buying a dell laptop this summer (i dont need any comments on how mac's are way better and stuff ive already heard it) but anyway i need to know a few things...can i go on there monthly plan without backing from like a company. like could i just organize it with my bank, or do i have to have some kind of company backing me with it. Also has anyone done one of these plans with dell...cause i was reading a few threads about it on there site and some people seem to get pretty pissed off cause of bills that dont make sense and stuff...anyway sorry for it being so long hopefully someone can help me here

find a laptop that isn't made by dell... ie check www.tigerdirect.ca or www.newegg.com
and try and buy the laptop outright... you will find the monthly plan ends up with you paying far more in the end for a less superior machine than if you buy from a different company.
dell uses very cheap internal parts and they break down more rapidly.
thats just my 2cents

i cant really afford to buy the laptop outright and i know i'll be paying more in the end..but my friend has one of there laptops and hes had it for 3 years its not that good but it works fine...and if mine does break i'll return it..and i am still looking around i just liked dell's xps
