Ipod/ comp help please

The comp that i have my Itunes crashed, so i now use my laptop, and i have limewire on it and downloaded some songs. how do i get the songs that i recently downloaded onto my ipod? download itunes on the laptop and plug it in..but I think if i do that it will erase the other songs on my ipod!2fkadjslkfj HELP!!!!!!!!
