seriously what the fuck, someone shed some light on it for me, were they just leaving it open for interpretation that that sketchy guy at the restaurant was gonna kill tony?
it was pretty anti climatic. Could have been worse.
To me, the ending just meant that Tony will go on as usual. Some crazy shit went down, but if they had wanted to kill him off they would have done so. Not that bad of an ending IMO.
well, Tony could have lived, or died. You don't know that the person coming in the door was meadow, and you don't know what was up with those sketch guys in the resturant. For all we know, nothing happened. But, no matter what way they ended it, people were gonna be pissed, so this way basically makes everyone happy. On another note, it was David Chase(the guy who plays tony) who directed this episode, which in a way makes it better because the main guy ended it how he thought it should. Also, the cutting to black instead of fading is a very interesting editing tactic that nobody really uses, so I give them props for doing it.
I thought my DVR broke I was super pissed trying to fuck with it then the credits rolled... I was amazed. Nothing happened the whole episode it wasn't worthy of a season ender much less an series finale. I was so so dissipointed. It should have been absolutely nuts crazy shit happening everywhere like the second to last episode where everyone was getting killed. So so lame.
On the other hand they are running the series on A&E now so if you already knew what happened at the end you wouldn't really want to watch...
All my favorite shows are letting me down. Except South Park. "scissor me timbers." haha glorious.
