why cant radio stations play good music? seriously, i think ipods could take a beating if there was a station that played good new music instead of the same weak shit over and over again

Everyone has a different taste in music. What could be good for you, someone else hates. That is why the stations TRY to keep one genre of music, so everyone can have one they enjoy.

dont listen to any stations called Kiss, Mix, or things like that then
avoid anything owned by Comerus or Clear Channel (Clear Channel is the devil, and i refuse to listen / purchase anything supported by them)

well the music on the radio is from large labels so they have tghe power to get their music on the station. in a way they are trying to force people to like the music.
ex
back in the day i new nothing of independent and underground hip hop and basically only listened to the classic rock stations. then i kinda got into some of the hiphop on the radio. after a while i realized what most these artists were actually saying and hated tehm. because when i was a wee lad i didnt really listen to lyrics. then i found underground scene and to me it beats teh shit out of whats playing mainstream. not to say all underground music is good.
of course there are ppl who will like the music on the radio wheather it is on there or not, but i think that a lot of people dont give music that isnt on the radio a chance thinking its must be bad since its not in the pop culture.
so i think everyone should have an equal chance to get airplay. in my opinion commercialization destroyed a lot of music

because 70% of radio stations are owned by the same company.
if NS radio played music it could be good. especially my radio mixes. c'mon bp. i know you want you air them.
