dave weale is without a doubt the toughest SOB in whistler if not the entire ski industry.  I once saw him tear down a red wood with his bare hands, carry it up wedge,  plant it in the glacier, light the top on fire and start singing happy birthday to his pet grizzly, which he raised from young.
