dont think many people will help but hopefully im lucky
i have this review sheet complete with ansers and its on exponents...i just have to understand how to do it for this test tomorow it seems really basic...but i dont get it...so here are a few with ansers can you try and explain what you do to solve it *numbers with a * are exponents...thats the small number above a number...
1. (0.4)3*
------- = 2.5
0.16
2. (-2)-3* =-1/8
3. (2/3)-3* =27/8
4. 4-3* =1/64
i know this is probably simple but i cant figure it out...and you dont have to comment on how dumb i am..

1. (0.4)3*
------- = 2.5
0.16
-> (.4)^3 = .4*.4*.4
then divide by .16
2. (-2)-3* =-1/8
-> (-2)^-3 = 1/(-2^3) = 1/(-2*-2*-2) = -1/8
3. (2/3)-3* =27/8
-> the -3 flips the fraction to (3/2)^3 = 3*3*3/2*2*2
4. 4-3* =1/64
-> 4^-3 = 1/(4^3) = 1/(4*4*4)
