immortal technique and cage have some of the best beats, but theyre lyrics are soo fucked up it kind of ruins it.
i mean, cage has some really intricate beats but his rhymes are suicidal.

when i was at an immortal technique show a few months back he preformed dancw with the devil it was nuts he like acted out the whole song on stage. it was so quiet all the little bitch prep white kids stopped boping their heads and stopped moving and i was the only one singing the lyrics in the crowd.

yea i was in florida for a classtrip and we got to out hotel at like 2 in the am and i just listened to that song and as soona s we got out the car we heard gu shots in the distance, i was so livid at that point i was like "fuck guys we gotta get outta here" super sketch after listening to that song

first off..."they" don't kill it since immortal technique is one person. and second...some of his stuff is tolerable but "dance with the devil" is so old. i can tolerate "industrial revolution".

peruvian cocaine and industrial revolution are the only tech songs i can handle, everything else is too violent, or too naively political. all it calls for is how latinos are persecuted, and i cant even recognize a real argument in his lyrics. I don't deny he is skilled, he needs to be to get where he is today, but he is certainly not as good as people make him out to be. I am not uneducated about this opinion, i have revolutionary vols 1 and 2 and have listened to them fully, not just a few songs.
Now if you do like tech, by all means listen to him, i just wish people would realize there is a lot of hip-hop out there that slays technique

That's what I like about Immortal Technique alot of his songs basically tell a story and others talk about relevent political "problems"..... as much as I do enjoy Immortal Technique there becomes a point where I have to change CD's because after awhile I can't take all the bitching.
