i just got my 4FRNT VCT's in the mail. they are 175
i need these mounted before ski camp
i ski alta utah. so i rarely ski park but i do hit up the park and am also going to camp this summer.
im 130 5 8 but i donno how that will matter but just incase
i want to be able to rip pow but also have good switch skiing and
good for bc jibbing and kickers and groomers and park(sometimes)
should i just mount recommended which is like -1.5 inches from core center
i was thinking maybe +1 from recommended
i also need to know how to tell the mounting guy exactly how to do it
i live in texas so i donno if he will understand so i need to be able to
explain exactly what i want

First, core center is a figment of your imagination...there is no such thing. If you want to be able to ski the whole mountain well, don't go center...they will sink like a mofo in fresh snow...I'd say go 3-4 (cm, not inches) back from center measure it out and draw a line across both skis with a sharpie, tell them to put your midsole right on that line.
And when people refer to mounting + or - from center, it's also in cm, never in inches...+ in forward of the line, - is behind the line.

id say directly inbetween the freeride mark and center, which is like -3.5 from the center mark.
