Scratch Boot Qustions - Sizing etc.

I searched this, and read the 2 reviews in the reviews sectons but I'm still left unsatisfied. I'm thinking about getting these boots (06' 07' white stormtrooper ones) for next year. And just wondering what the general opion is on these things.
The shops around here dont even carry rossi boots, so i really can't even try these on. How does the fit compare to the salomon foil? I've been fitted for a 27.5 in the foil, so can I pretty much expect the same fit (at least size wise) from the scratch?
Secondly, i've tried on the spk boot, and i think it's just going to be too soft for me. Because I do a decent amount of skiing outside of the park, and I take a trip out west every year. How does the comfort, and flex compare to the salomon foil? I'm looking for a boot that is comfy and forgiving, yet not extremely soft and squishy and wont let me charge.
And help would be awesome. Thanks

just get the foil. you have already tried it on, it fits, and it is a good boot. most all boots are good... it is just a matter of how it fits.

it would be rediculous to buy a boot without trying it... you buy a boot because it fit you good not because everybody says it good or not.

Hence why i'm asking how the boot fits. Narrow, wide, big toe box etc... I just have an opportunity to get these cheap. Save me about $90 over the foils. I like the foils, so I want to see if I can get something similar cheaper... makes sense to me.

If you want to do some out of park skiing do not get the foils, they're wayyy to soft, they have almost no support. If you land pretty far forward on a switch landing you can't push your knees down to pull yourself up instead the boots just much over .

Actually, maybe that's a bit too negative, I do like my boots. They're comfortable and as long as you're a decent skier and don't land on your face or your ass they'll be fine for shredding the park.

pretty sure the current salomon xwave 7 is pretty much the same as the original green 1080 - if you want something similar to that
