just curious about how much do used impreza's run. just an estimate...not a lot of aftermarket parts and lets say an 04'. just wondering what you guys would say one is worth?

subies are generally not expensive...i dont know about a ballpark figure. but they're a great investment, really great cars. last a long time.

steer clear of used modded wrx's unless you know the owner personally and have seen the way he drives.

04 ill say about mid 10's like 15000+ decent cond.

yeah i am only 15 on monday but i kinda like to 04's and just wanted to know what they run as of now. hoping that when im around 17 my parents will help pay for one somewhat...

good cars but there in the shop ALOT. and im not just saying that. and the headgasket will go on it if it hasnt been replaced before you bought it

on an 04? you need to be giving that motor hell for it to blow a head gasket by now. older model legacy's i understand, but newer wrx's the only problem you should be having is 1. the tranny 2. the turbo 3. the brakes.

I have an 05. It's sweet. I need new tires, so I'm driving my jeep right now. but its still sweet. I'll bet an 04 in 2 years will be about 15,000. There are sweet rides of pimpness.

i just got an 06 wrx and my insurance is now lower than it was with a mazda 3... wrx's arent bad with insurace because they are one of the safest cars on the road.....the STi is where you'll run into problems with insurance rates.....and you'll have no problem with the turbo, tranny or brakes as long as the car has not been beat.....you have to do a lot of mods with no engine management to screw the turbo( it maxes at 13.5 psi stock and can easily handle that.....alot of people get a lot more out of them safely with Cobb AccessPort)......the tranny will handle over 350 hp and an 04-05 only comes stock with about 220 hp(180 to the ground)--the 06-07 have about 250 hp(or 202 to the ground).....and the brakes always scrape a little(as known by subaru owners) but it is not a serious issue.
