prolly be nsaid a million times but the reynold 3s are probabally the best ones. i have the etnies factions and there allrite. but i also have the francises and the vox hewitts. i kinda like a high / mid top w vulc sole than low

vulcanization is a process that cures the rubber, strengthening bonds and therefore making it much harder than traditional rubber.
the benefit for skate shoes is that they can make the soles thinner, thereby increasing board feel. most skate shoes in the past that were durable had to have thick ass soles that you couldn't tell where the board was underneath you unless you looked.
and yes, they are amazing.
