Fks on scratch fs wrs

has any one had any problems with this combination of ski and biding... I know the fks is prone to ripping out on soft skis and i was thinking about picking up a pair for my new skis..

dont post search bar remarks ive already checked

have u ridden them yet? if u have then just keep um in and if they rip out then worry about...plus u can act total badass if they rip out

i have the fks/fs setup.  -2 cm from dead center.  no problems.

The Scratch FS isn't a very soft ski, and the problem is usually with fat skis, because the higher torquing you get from laying them over and the tight screw pattern can be a bad combo...but usually it's still fine. JP vs. Juliens have had the most problems, and it's partly because they have that freakin'scooby-doo mystery core, and no one knows what it's actually made of.

no I have not ridden them yet.... I just got them a few weeks ago and was thinking of upgrading from the rossi axial 120 binding i got with them... i got a really good deal on the whole setup so im not super concerned if i dont use the axail's and go with the fks...

is there that big of a difference between the FKS and axial, that i should spend the extra money on the upgrade????

dont bother, the difference is in the heel piece, you should be set, bu thow much do you weigh/how tall are you

I have fks 120s on mine. No worries at all. I didn't even have to nbend the brakes at all

i am 140lbs and 5ft 10in.
and if the only difference is the heal piece i think i will stick with my axial 120 bindings

a din of 12 is way more than i need anyway

the hell in the fks is metal vs. plastic in the axial. just a little more burly thats all.

the fks 120's are about the same weight, if not lighter, and they're wayyy more durable and the pivot heel has saved my knees so many times... get 'em, just my 2 cents.

he is looking for 120s, which are plastic, and seems like a pretty light kid, so i would just say save the money and use axial 2's then as you grow step up to fks
