The Chronic is a great ski for firm terrain thanks to the super quick 80mm waist but for those looking for something more versatility in the softer snow we have now created the Chronic Blend. This is not simply a wider version; it's actually the first ski that truly blends freeride geometry with freestyle construction. We borrowed the Prophet 90 geometry and 90mm waist so the Blend would have the shape to powerfully rip the entire mtn. Then we moved the mounting to be closer to center for a freestyle feel that was still set back enough to handle well in softer snow. We also used a Poplar core for super light weight when spinning and quick and agile maneuvering anywhere on the hill. We loved the way the Metal Matrix enhanced power in the Prophet series so we used that same concept in the Blend to put carbon where you need it and removed it where you don't, which came to be known as the Carbon Matrix. You'll feel a ton of pop and lightweight responsiveness. This is now the ski that will rip from the back bowls to the park, a true all-terrain quiver of one.
