A buddy and I are thinking of hiking the sunshine road and heading up past Standish for some true spring skiing and booter action of Paris Basin. Anybody ever done it? Anybody know how to get a ride up to at least mid-station (village) or elsewhere?
Is parking available, and if so, where?.....etc.
Info would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks.

theres a shuttle that goes to the village in summer but i think the best way to get some spring turns is to park and walk to the end of the ski out where theres a trail starting for healy creek and ski anywhere, i wouldnt suggest doing it if you have never done it before .
in summer theres usually some snow left near quartz hill or the top of lookout if you want some summer skiing

hahaha that made me laugh. How's anyone ever supposed to have done it before if they shouldn't do it for the first time ever?

Ive heard that they have some park-crew filming up there with a massive park built. It might be worth a check.

Can anybody verify the park comment?
I would've thought someone in this forum would've heard 1st hand info about it.
