Well I had the first real lucid dream I've ever experienced last night. I was walking around my room, which is the basement of my house, and it was ridiculously hot, like 120 degrees hot. The strange thing was, I couldn't see anything, but I knew I was in my basement. Everything was just pitch black. After taking a few breaths and realizing that I was getting no oxygen, just heat, i decided to walk out the door. As i opened the door, I was able to see the dim outlines of trees, and I looked for the lights that I can traditionally see of strip malls and such from my backyard, but I couldn't make those out. As I got outside, it was hotter than it was inside, so i started to get confused. At this point, I realized I was in a dream, because none of this could be happening, and at that moment, I woke up. When I opened my eyes, I could see a faint glow through something over my face. My arms were behind my head, with my head resting on top. It was at this time that I realized that the sheet was stretched over my head, and my hands were holding it tightly behind me. I ripped the sheet off of my face, and realized that it was about 7:45 in the morning.
In summary, it's frightening to know that I am now trying to kill myself in my sleep.
