just cause your poor and cant afford the flour let alone the choc. chips to make the cookies, dont bring the hate apon me and all others that enjoyed my creations, along with being inspired to bake some of their own.

yo japanada.. How did you make yours shaped so well?? I made the same recipe today, first I rolled them into straight spheres, and they ended up being cookie balls, then i flattened the next batch, and they still stayed too thick. What did I do wrong? The butter I used was straight out of the fridge, did this make a difference?

Cookies bring up traumatic memories for me. I had a bunch of friends on their way over one day when I was making some. Something went terribly wrong in the mixing step and the dough became somewhat liquefied. Very liquefied actually. I was out of time, so I put some spoonful's in little runny blobs on the cookie sheet and threw them in the oven. My friend arrived, all excited for cookies. I went upstairs to get them, with a feeling of hopeless dread creeping up my throat. Upon opening the oven, I discovered that the cookie material had all run together and coalesced into a sort of cookie brittle. Half was still runny, and the edges were burning. I have not attempted cookies since.

man if you wanna make a super cookie ya gotta use a convection oven. thats pretty much the only way to consistently cook it throughout. cookies are ballin,but the secret is to use dark chocolate chips...soo good

Baking IS badass! And super easy.

I made some pies today. Pumpkin from scratch as well as apple. First time making apple pie and it's super fucking easy and tastes amazing. Ended up with two apple pies due to having so many apples and the pumpkin I used was enough for three pies.

Anyone else baked (food not high) anything good recently?

Yeah it is expensive! I didn't realize how easy it is to make bread too. So much yield for basically pennies in cost

Yup. I can't wait to fill my freezer up. Was spending about $8/week on bread.
