nah, for average skier tahts still not right. id sayw 165 MINIMUM. but your right, buying from a shop is much better

wow, thats like ski blade size. I'm 5'9" too, and I ride 178, but would rather use like 182. I was under the impression that longer was better for park... 155... haha

Dude don't hate on Backcountry, given the size of that business they do a pretty good job of knowing whats up.

Plus park ski size is all personal preference. I know kids that are like 5'6" rocking 175-180+ skis.

I am about 6' and I will be rocking 182's next season. It's all personal.

you know, it probably also depends on how hard you charge. If you are skiing park, but only doing 5 foot jumps without spins or any real air, then you don't need the stability that you need for bigger jumps and higher speed.
That guy is still underestimating, though...
