IPod battery life- 80 gig/40 gig

does anyone know a realistic idea for the battery life of the new iPod videos? not just music, but how long a charge would last me just watching movies? thank you, help appreciated. and yes, i search bared it.

on my 30gb, the realistic video time is about 4 hours. and music mvaries depending on how much you play with it

I used to be a lifty, id listen to music from 8-11ish then watch movies from 11-2ish then listen to music from 2-5ish and it wouldn't die, sometimes id watch movies all afternoon and it wouldn't die. So the stats on apples site is pretty legit.

yo, i have the U2 edition 30g and the battery life for music is mayeb 15 hours and if i wanted to watch a whole movie, maybe 3 hours

Apparently the 80gig gets better battery life than the 40 gig, especially for movies. My friend's 80 gig can do about 8 or 10 hours of video whereas a 30gig can only do about 3-4 hours of video.
