why are women such bad drivers?

ok, somebudy pls explain something to me. Why the fuck do women pay less insurance then me? in fact like 7 times less, when about 90% of female drivers on the road are just FUCKING terrible!!! Not only that, but the fact is, women do get into MORE accidents then men, per kilometer. In fact, within the past 5 years, accidents caused by females jumped by 13%, while males dropped .5%!(US D.O.T.). I mean they dont signal, they dont stop, they make wide turns, they dont shoulder check, and today they have allready put my life in danger twice. Stupid bitch runs a stop sign and i havta slam my gas pedal just so she doesnt collide with me, then the same thing, with a completely different vehicle and a chik driving. then there's this old lady who opens her door right in front of me, when shes like 2 feet from the sidewalk, i havta swerve to avoid the bitch. she called me an asshole so i says 'if you cant even fucking open the door properly, without putting ureself in mortal danger, why the FUCK are u driving!'

yes this is a problem, my friends and i have talked about this on several occasions. i think in general (most cases) you have to be a good Multi-tasker to be able to drive well. and in general, girls are not good multi-taskers.

You need to watch yourself calling all women bad drivers. I've nearly died as the result of men behind the wheel just as often as I have with other women. I signal, I make tight turns, I don't open my door randomly, I check my blind spot when merging, and I stop at stop signs.

I have never run anyone over, and I generally keep my car in my own lane.
I know he wasn't making refrences to me in particular. I was playing devil's advocate for the sillyness of making a generalizations about people of specific genders being bad drivers.
On general terms, I do agree that women are crappy drivers. Most women I know drive out of necessity, not because it is something they enjoy. Guys are more likely to drive for the fun of it, and enjoy the opportunities they have to drive, making them more focused on the task at hand.
As for the insurance thing, I think guys are still making up for being teenagers and terribly irresponsible.

i agree with u beckaski on that one, but i also think that the drivers test should make up for some leverage in insurance payment, which i recieved 2 misdemeanor points, out of a possibly 44 for passing.

What they should actually do is make some requirement to retake the test as you get older. It somehow needs to be that you don't just drive all good because you're being tested. I think that would be tons more fair than the current system.
I feel your pain on the insurance world. I pay $1000 every 6 months. Given, my car's got full coverage on it, but still. Way too much.

it's because guys like to push the limits of driving.they drive their cars faster and more often. the more you drive, the bigger your chances of having an accident. Same with speed, Same with the mileage of the car, since guys drive more and are harder on their cars, the cars need fixing more often, so they claim more often. that is why guys insurance is higher. girls are more careful when they drive because they know they suck and they dont push the limits of their car.

more mileage on a car has nothing to do with it. insurance companies do not pay for repairs due to driving. if something breaks, it is out of your pocket. but yes, the fact that guys drive more and faster is why we have higher rates. but i think it is mostly because we drive more...

I think old people in general are some of the scariest drivers. Did you guys hear about the one old guy in California who killed 10 people and injured 45 when he drove through a street market? That's some crazyness. It makes me glad that my grandparents are aware of the fact that their driving days are numbered and only drive when conditions are good and not long distances.

I am the worst driver. I am one of those people you ride down behind on your way home from the mountain who just bouncing off the guardrails the entire way down in the off season it's fun though because I'll be coming from the mountain for golf and on the tight corners I can get my jeep up on two side wheels!

Beckaski - Here in California I just heard an old man had ran over 10 people and injured more.
He had just hit a Mercedes car. He panicked and fleed the scene. He hit and run, and was all freaked out and came tumbling into a fruit stand mowing over many people.
Here's my take on this:
Men drive more. I drive an average of 3 hours a day.
Men speed more. Men are more likely to show off to their friends or just have a 'need for speed'.
Women don't have the same interest in driving that men do In general, I don't think women care about cars, and driving as much as guys do.
They drive out of necessity. They drive where they need to go and that's it.
Men have a better reaction time and are used to fast response Whether from sports or whatever
Women are more likely to do other things on the road Women are actually better multi-taskers than men. They are used to it in everyday life. While they talk on the phone at home they can have three other things going.
Because they are not as interesting in driving just for the sake of driving, they use that available time to do other things. Such as make-up, call their friends, yadda yadda.
I don't think women (in general) have the same driving ability as most guys.
But having good driving ability, and being A GOOD DRIVER are two different things.
Women = less likely to speed,show off, and break laws.

I think that most of Ghost Dragon's reasoning is pretty sound. It's all logical, and pretty much how stuff goes down. Maybe women should pay more than we do for insurance because we have a tendancy to multi-task and wreck shit. I will say that if I'm behind the wheel, driving's pretty much all I'm doing. Conversation generally doesn't happen in my car. The people in the back seat talk away, but I'd rather pay attention to the road.

Yeah I don't know about other people, but I drive drive with my knees, don't look back when I'm backing out, so far my car goes 130mph, gotta see if it goes faster, and I don't really brake for turns. So I would say me being a male am a horrible driver. Oh yeah, I have ran my share of stop signs and tried to switch lanes while a car was in it already, one time I ran some guy off the road, he was alright though.

i run stop signs all the time, i just stop twice at the next one. And my shitty lumona pushes 110 ever since i change the jets on my carbeurator. My chamber wasnt flooding and my float was being weak, so i said bitch, get more gas in there. 110 is pretty damn good for a 3.1 liter. When i get my 69 camaro with a 302 in it it will push 150-160 tho

yes, girls suck at driving in general. My last girlfriend... worst driver under the age of 70(well all know senior citizens are an exception). One time we were driving on a semi-country road and saw a bunch of deer on the side. She preceeds to shout and take her hands off the wheel and put them in front of her face. Had I not grabbed the wheel I am guessing we would have been owned by a tree at 50 mph. STupid girls =P

hey, im a girl and i happen to be a very good driver thank you, no accidents yet. its just all the crazy soccer moms who cause accidents cause they're always flying around trying to pick up the kids on time or go to the market before it closes. old people suck at driving too.
