Bodyboarding and not having a strong enough duckdive to make it through the wave. I felt myself getting pulled back, over the falls, and doooown. Me and this other kid were stuck in the same position but his leash broke, so no board anymore. Then we went through the same thing a few more times that set until we swam outside for a breather. Biggest day I've been out on.
There's another but I forget what it is... more later.

So i was in this comp, and i decided to throw a 9 off this kicker, long story short, i landed sideways and my face was fucked in a serious way. Like half my face was a giant cut.

Also later that night i got robbed and i was like 10 ft away from a big burglar with a crowbar.

oh and a backfip over my freinds net on his tramp, landed on the grass. All i heard was OH SHIT MAN midair

Another time a few years ago, age 12 or  13 , I was at Killington on Outer limits. It was a real icy day and the whole thing was groomed. I lost control at they very top and slid the whole way down. I was lucky it wasn't crowded and the trail ends in a run out. If I had slid to the trees or lift poles I would be fucked. I was scared as hell the whole way down. Just tumbling over and over again..

me and my friend each ate an 8th of shrooms and came like 5 feet from a huge moose, might not sound scary but if anyone here has done shrooms then you will understand how i almost cried.......another time when me and another friend needed a ride home from this party, and this kid claimed he wasnt that drunk and he was going down town anyways, so it was this little truck with the topper on back, and the driver and another kid in the cab, and me and my friend in the back..... so anyways we got downtown and ended up hitting a light post(only going like 10 mph), and then backed up and hit a parked truck(going like 25mph), so me and my buddy hopped out and ran faster than the speed of light

i forgot about this one

i don't know if any of you guys have heard of 45north the dryland camp, but i was up there one summer. The whole camp spent one night in whispering pines camping resort so there was a lack of tents. Between like 8 and 9pm it started to rain harder than i've ever seen, there were tiny streams flowing through our camp within 2 minutes. Naturally everyone went for the tents and a few other kids and i had to break into the camp van because ther was no room in the tents. By the time we got our sleeping bags and such set up and into the vans, the rain had stopped. We spent the next hour or 2 talking. So everything was normal till i noticed that this guy was standing behind a tree adjacent to our van with a dog, he stood there for almost 20 minutes, periodically shining a flashlight around our campsite. Aight, i just blow this off as a guy taking his dog out. Soon after we see a man walk into a building we can see out the right side of the van, he never comes out... ok, now we're gettin worried. It's midnight and we've seen about 3 people walk in the building and not come out, the littler kids in the van are flipping out. So we see one last man enter the building, he holds a lantern and is wearing these ridiculous socks taht i can't help but laugh at. A while later, a heavy set man who we did not see enter, exits, wearing the socks and holding the lantern. Holy shit. So i'm freaking out because this is not right, it's like 1am what the hell is going on. And here comes the worst part, a kid in the van shouts and points to the sky out of his window, he's pointing to a big green light in the sky, my mouth just dropped. The light moved around like every damn ufo witness says they do, then dissapears. needless to say i didn't get much sleep.

i was like 7 and i was at my friends house late at night. this crazy lady runs in saying a guy is chasing her and she takes their phone and calls the police. the police come and it turns out she was on crack(like she was actually on crack) and the guy was trying to get her back home.

pretty fucking weird.

wow... bro i think i've seen something like that. so i'm lookin up at the stars layin on my tramp with some buds and were just talking. when all of a sudden, i'm looking at this star, AND IT MOVES TO ANOTHER STAR, AND GOES BACK TO WHERE IT WAS. i was like, what the?!?! so idk, but it was crazy

i have so many of these sories. they're intense read them!!

so i was turning at a light with my aunt cuz she wanted a candy bar they only had at this gas station. a twix peanut butter. anyway, were turning left into the merging lane, when the car in front of us dodges to the left, and we see a full loaded dump truck in front of us laying out on his horn. so he misses us by literally a foot, (my aunt says "shit! shit! shit!!!" and dodges it also.) so i whip around and the car behind us gets nailed by the truck, does a 360 into a fence 20 feet in the opposite direction it was traveling. I thought later that if we were only 10 seconds late, that woulda been us.

Next,

Camping up in the tetons, we go to a nice hot spring and were having an awesome time, jumping cliffs, and swimming. there is a nice waterfall you can swim to and get on a rock for support, so a bunch of us go over, and so i'm trying to get there but all of a sudden i get sucked under. down down down, and i dont reach bottom so i cant kick up. so i'm trying to swim, and not going anywhere. i'm yelling (cuz i'm freaked out) so my air is about gone, and my friend realizes im not there, he jumps in and finds me, brings me up and i start coughing out water. by this time i almost lost conciousness. but i was ok.

Finally...

I'm up skiing at my mountain seshin the park. so i hit this 30ft table, come around the 3 and realize i'm still so far away from the ground, i start rolling the windows down, and land flat on my back. i black out, and am pretty confused for a second. then i try to move, and i get this horrible pain in my back. so i man up and ski to the bottom and that was it for me that day. Also the day i broke my sternum. that was pretty scary.

Crashed my car in the summer, hydroplaned on a right turn going 70 km/h, sideways over a curb into an industrial consturciton fence. Shit like that happens so fast theres only enough time for your heart to skip a quick beat before its over and you can think about how lucky you were.

Okay i thought of a couple,

FIRST:
I was skiing A-bowl at loveland (ubersteep and mogully doouble black, just so you can get a picture.)

I was going at decent pace when all of a sudden this rocky patch 5-8ish feet pops out of the snow from fucking nowhere, not a problem though. I hop over them, but when I land past them, I'm going way faster than I'd like to be. Still doing okay, I turn across the moguls and such to slow down. In one of the most gaper moments of my life, I catch an edge, do a fast fucking 180, and continue down the hill switch.

That was fucking terrifying, but I wasn't doing half bad. I kind of bounced off of all the moguls, but I wasn't falling over. The fear was replaced with pride for a little bit. So I look over my shoulder and then I see the trees. SO I'm trying to pull out of it, revert to switch, ski away like a pimp and make it seem intentional..... but I can't.

So I;m going uberfast, and finallly have to huck myself down so I don't roll into the trees. I ragdolled down the hill for another 30 feet or so and stopped in some deepish snow about 10 feet before a tree. NOt super-close but scary, and my shins were fucking destroyed.

The other Time:
I was getting a ride back with a friend just theis season, we passed three cars on a wet/snowy road around a blind corner although still a passign lane. Just as you could guess another car comes at us, he floors it, swerves out of the way with a good amount of time before the other car. not scary buuuuttttt, he didn't slow down at all around this unnecessarily going 73, and I thought his jeep was going to slide, roll, and we were all going to die not from impact, but from drowning in the icy fucking river. but we didn't.

I know there are a couple more but i can't think of them right now.

Going off a pretty reasonably sized kicker for the first time. i was close to the jump, my friend gave me the thumbs up for the right speed and sop i kept going off, and i made the gap, so im like, "oh, tight, i made it" then i kept going... i was halfway through my time in the air and i still had time to yell a 5 syllable holy crap. I thought i was gonna break my legs. Luckily i landed on my seat on the last curve of the landing, spun out and got a nasty snow burn on my arm, but i got up laughing.

Or else when me and my step bro got in a fight that included a tangled hose, a pool, and a headlock

being an Aussie and more of a surfer than a skier had 4 run ins with some big sharks. First one was easily the scariest, 15 foot grey nurse, theyre mainly harmless but you dont really think that when you see one from a 6 foot away

This was about 5 years ago now. Up to that point in my life, I had had 4 asthma attacks, nothing too serious, just emergency room visits. Anyways, this day, I was out playing soccer, and started to feel the tightness you feel before an asthma attack, so I went to the sidelines to get my puffer. That worked, so I told my coach I was done for the night, and biked home. When I got home I had a shower, which is when things went bad. My coughing returned and all of a sudden my nose started pouring like crazy (I have what I thought were minor allergies to dust/pollen) . About this time I started to really have trouble breathing and was getting faint. I managed to get the door of the bathroom open and as I was walking out I lost conciousness. I woke up around 6 hours later in a hospital bed. Apparently I had to be rushed to the hospital, where they tried to get me to swallow some meds (I was awake, but not concious) and I couldn't because everytime I tried to swallow my heart would momentarily stop. I ended up having intravenous allergy meds pumped into me while on a breather delivering asthma meds. The whole asthma/allergy attack took so much out of my body I was perscribed steroids for a week to get me back to normal health.

A couple times right off the the top of my head.  Our school took an 8th grade trip to six flags and we were on a coaster and got stuck straight upside down for 45 minutes.....they were calling people and trying to fix the shit....plus there were 4 black girls in the front that were screaming and shaking the whole ride back and forth to get out.....dont know where they thought they would go once they got out....

And then me and my ex gf were coming back from a baseball game and we were getting onto an entry ramp, it was pouring rain and as we came around the corner, we hydroplaned in a complete 180...and a semi truck was right behind us...i put the car in reverse and swung it out onto the side...yeah that sucked

Yeah just thought of another thing....when I was 15 I was out driving the backcountry roads of washington with my dad when I had my permit.  He was showing me how to stop....and we were going down a hill.  I stopped at the base...and this guy in a F-350 they estimated was going 70-80 MPH hit us as a dead stop.....he had guns in his truck and they ended up 20-30 feet ahead of us after impact....oh by the way we were driving a toyota camry..yeah that sucked

heres one...
i was straightlining down a slope probably 40+ mph and went over a blind drop where you have about 40 feet in length but only five feet of height, and i saw some little kid sitting there. i managed o miss the kid but i ate shit. i hit sideways and flipped then nailed a pine tree. i was kind of lucky because it didnt hurt at all, but i was stuck in the tree well. i could breath fine but couldnt get out for a good 10 minutes because i was upside down. getting stuck in tree wells is so scary because you can get stuck and suffocate (to death) haha.

last summer i had some teeth pulled.  i had to get put under and everthing went well during the surgery.  then we are driving home and were like an hour away from the hospital and the roof of my mouth starts bleeding.  and it keeps bleeding and doesnt stop.  so we go through 2 packs of 250 gauze sheets and we rush to the hospital, and as i was walking in, i black out from losing so much blood.  turns out the dumb fucking surgeon cut my artery in the top of my mouth, so if you know anything about circulation, basically my heart was pumping blood and when it got to my head it came out of my mouth so none could get to my brain.  they said i was lucky i didnt die.  so they cauterize my mouth, which is where you burn it so it stops bleeding.  and i didnt have annestesia (sp) so it hurt like a bitch, there were like 15 doctors all around me, i couldnt see, and i was scared shitless.  so he got sued for mad dough and it just sucked all around, probably most painful and scary thing of my life

when my car lost traction on an icy road and all of a sudden I'm in the oncoming two lanes in rush hour going sideways with an 18wheeler coming at me. That was scary, luckily he merged over a lane and the guy behind him was able to stop in time... not fun when you have no control over your car. I guess that's when I realized I need snow tires instead of well worn stock tires and my 4x4 doesn't work.

Probably when i hit a 105foot  natural hit on my dirt bike and the carburettor floats jammed riiiight at the top of kicker.  Bike stalled and fully flipped forward, landed on me and broke my pelvis.  The other scariest moment was when I slipped out on a corner and was winded for so long that I passed out.  Woke up a couple of minutes later and there were heapsa people standing there, but I got up and rode back to the trailer.  Went to A + E a few hours later and then hospital and i'd split my kidney

o and i was being chased through the bush by this guy with a huge stick who was screaming.I must have sprinted for about 3 miles up a mountain.My heart was pumping so hard i could hear it beating in my head,I thought someone was playing a drum.I almost passed out.then when i was looking back I flew into a mudpit.rolled around init and finnaly got out.I booked home and had a shower.my brother and a friend split up with me when we were running and thought i was caught.they were goin to go back with his shotgun to get me haha but i was at home we were all coverd in mud and my brother lost his shoes.Now I have to watch my back cuz he knows were we live and everytime i see him i just put muy hood up and walk the other way.come to think of it now though we probobly could have took him.o yeah and in the process he stole our skateboard so were never goin to see thoughs again.

Hiking in switzerland, we got to this large open space, that we had to cross to get to this cabin at the top, before heading back down. About halfway through the hike it had started raining, but about now it was pouring, and all of a sudden there was maadd lightning all around us, an I thought we were gona die

i was chilling having a bonfire with some buds and we didnt have a flashlight or anything and we heard this wildcat flipping out like 50metres from it wich means that i had been watching us and been attacked by something probably bigger than it. never run so fast in my life its like a half an hour walk from my friends house through woods no trail it was pitch black we sprinted it in 5 minutes. it was fucked

me and my friend were at this bar and we wanted to go smoke so we went out in th elot to get my chillum and there were these 2 pavilions near us, so we looked at this one it was high up and lit up near the road and there was another dark one. Well we were like this is the ganja pavilion cause its all dark.. so we started smoking and looked to our right and it was the police station... i got mad scared.

i was driving home and was probably about 1.5miles away. it was about 9:30 at night and dark. i was coming around a turn at about 55, the speed limit, and someone pulled out of a connecting road on the left, he was taking a right, and completely made the shittiest turn imaginable and ended up completely in my lane facing me. i had to swerve off the road around the jackass to avoid having a head on collision at 55, plus whatever speed he had gotten up to. scariest shit ever to see a pair of headlights bearing down right in front of you. it was weird, i didn't even think about it, it just happened so quickly and i was around the guy, i don't even remember thinking anything like "oh shit swerve out of this fucker's way!", i just remember 'welcome to the jungle' playing really loudly. but yeah, that was a pretty close one, i hate that guy.

probably when I was in the car with my mom on the 401 and the guy in front of us jams on the breaks as my mom's looking to pass lanes and in an attempt to stop from hitting the car she swerved out and we did a 180 on the highway and stopped perfectly parrallel on the inside of inside lane

canoing in new hampshire,  somehow we flipped over, and i got all disoriented and got caught under the sinking canoe and was underwater. then as soon as i got out of that, without ever reaching the surface, a log pushed me back down

basically i was stuck under a bunch of shit under water, and couldn't tell which way was up or anything

Over the summer I was jumping off this 40-45ft. bridge.  Everyone was telling me to do a backflip and I did it once before so I just walked up and hucked myself off.  I swung my feet back so fast that I started rotating around a second time and I knew I was fucked.  I landed on my back and havent flipped off it since.  In the air I was just thinking about how bad it was going to hurt.

Or...

Last winter me and two other friends were throwing snowballs at cars.  My friend hit a car and we all ran and I split up from my friends and hid in a little pine tree.  I was mabey 120lbs and I thought I was going to get my ass kicked.  This guy was probally in his 20's and he walked right by me screaming that he was going to kick my ass.

Not the best stories but nothing exciting ever happens in my life.
