Anyone else interested in it? I can't wait to get my new EOS Mark III (If I ever get the 6k+ for it and the lense).

This is the crap quality I have to deal with until the time. I can't wait till I can take a photo of a bugs eyeball.

If your all about macro get the mp-e 65mm macro, a mt-24ex, and 5D. The Mark III won't do you justice.

Whoa..haha.. I just stumbled upon this thread by random and I'm never in NSG. I'm overly complemented. In fact.. I'm straight up blushing red.

Anyway.
I love Macro, it's a form of self-expression for me.

And to bigshotimaging:
Why not the Mark III? The production model isn't even out yet, is it? And if so, then just recently because I know the test models were out and about as of late... But I mean, if you weren't a tester, how can you nip on a cam you haven't used?
Either way, 5d is a great cam I agree with you on those points. I'm looking for a 5d actually, I just don't want to purchase it before I get a new flash.. I also want a few lenses... bah... So much for having money.

Oh boy...I'm not bashing the MIII, tardos. I'm just saying that you could buy a 5D, a Macro, and a flash for what youd pay for a MIII body. Gosh! You keep taking about money, I'm just giving you a sensible alternative. Gross!

Yeh I am still reading up on allot of cams. Pretty set on Canon, and love how big a newb I sounded like dissing his post when he was posting about canon haha.

But yeh I am learning for sure.

Sah, methinks I used bad wording. I didn't mean that you were bashing on it.. by nip i meant put it out of question. Although I do agree with you on more for you money about the 5d combo- was a notable point.
Although It did seem like you had soomething about the MIII when you said it won't do him justice =)
I'm interested in trying it out, I don't think I would buy it.

I like your quiver though, very tastey.

And keep up the comments, sugggestions and thoughts, it's good to have someone here who knows something.

Werd, if anyone has $ to burn, grab a a MII Ds and all the aforementioned components. If your like the rest of us who spend more on their glass than their car, go eco.

Not to mention that the 5D is full frame. The Mark III is still an APS-H sized sensor (1.3x crop) so you're short changing yourself if you have full frame lenses. If I were to go for a pro body, it'd be the 1Ds Mark II and not the Mark III just for that reason.

But I'm definitely not in that market right now, haha.
