Remounting at the balance point, bad idea or great idea

my original mount was at -0.5, would it be a bad idea to mount at the balance point, so like +2 or what ever it is, smart or not smart?
I need to remount because the bindings ripped out along with the heli coils.

if your skiing backwards more than half the time, or plan too, yes good idea.

probably not, i dont want to move it that much but i dont have much experience in remounting, how much room do i need from the original holes for a solid mount?

from my day's of riding rossi bindings it was about a centimeter, but i riped them out again and again and now i ski on salomons and havn't ripped out since. so i don't know for sure
