im looking to buy eitha a arv or msp. your opinions on which ski performs best in powder conditions but can still throw down in the park with out any troubles
both hold it in powder and park. msp is stiffer than the arv. so you can charge harder on the msps, but the arvs are way fun in the park. i have them in a 185 centermounted!
i have the msps in size 181 and i like them alot
i ride on the east coast so im always ridin the park and they are great for that. and for the 1 week i ski pow that freakin charge like no other
arvs would be more fun for park as they are about the softest skis available. msps would be better for all mtn as they are stiffer and cope better with variable conditions in the backcountry
has anyone ridden both of these or at least flexed them. i'm looking for a mid-fat ski and these two are some of the sticks i've been looking at. i've flexed the arv and understand just how noodly they are. but when i hear that the msp is stiffer than the arv i'm not getting a good reading on just how much stiffer it is. can anyone give me a better perspective on just how stiff the msp is by maybe giving a ski its flex is similar to.
i'm looking at these two skis because i've heard they perform well on the hill and in the park. if anyone has any suggestions other than these, that'd be great also. thanks
yes he knows that but he wants to know HOW different are the flexes. I can't really help you there as I've only ridden the ARVs but I can tell you that you can't go wrong with the ARVs. There a really fun ski.
