NSTV coming back?

I remember testing it for doug with some other people.  I saw him make some pasta and i watched a fan hanging on a door.  I think it would be cool but who knows, NS had a lot going on right now

Hah yeah to be honest it just TOTALLY failed. We had the system working, but it wasn't stable, and very few people had internet good enough to watch it. The most successful functioning broadcast of an event (triple challenge at Blue 2005 I believe) only had 5 viewers.

We tried it a bunch of times, like masters last year, but the camer angle just sucked way too bad. The only way we had to do it was one camera streaming into a computer... once you put that into a quality low enough that it could be streamed you couldn't see shit.

So basically in a ghetto format it was just a flat-out miserably failed piece of shit.

However, believe me we have not forgotten about it, and we are going to bring back live streaming. I will admit though to do it right with multiple cameras, mixing board, satellite internet... all that shit is mad expensive. That certainly does not mean impossible, we just need to take a risk and do something big to make it happen.

Mark my words... one of these days we're going to get live streaming events for you guys. We want that SOOOOOOO badly... just give us some time to figure out the logistics!

Yeah there is a lot of interest in it. NSTV could be fucking amazing.

then get NS listed on the tsx and nysx, ill will put my life savings into it.

all you need is to make the company public and have it go on the stock exchange that way people can buy stock and stuff

I think there are enough talented and intelligent people working for/ in some way with NS that it's possible, but as was said before, very difficult to do live broadcast.............



....... so what about non live, maybe some movies, short member edits.....

with that room you had at copper you could have totally pulled it off, Feed 2 Camera's into the computer, add some commentary, get it on a switchboard and you'd be ready to go.

Get on it for next US Open, (i'd be more than willing to come and help wink wink)

I wouldn't bother if the angle is going to be complete shit... like that Orage Masters one last year... you couldn't see anything.

My same suggestion 2 years ago. I even offered to donate a computer to run the shit but I've put that to other uses since then.

that is waht i am saying..even if its not live it can be like the free skier pod cast where they get event coverage then post it...it would be good
