Anybody watching Countdown with Olbermann right now? He usually directs his amazing rants at Bush but right now he's absolutely destroying the democrats in congress who 'compromised' on the war bill. Please tell me somebody else is watching this.
i feel like people really cut olbermann alot of slack. im not a fan of bill oreilly at all but it seems like him and keith olbermann are the same person on different sides of the political spectrum. they both seem like super opinionated assholes that think they can preach their political values to the world to me.
Oh totally, but what Olbermann has over Orly is the ability to address somebody directly (during his rants), while being stearn, yet polite, and with an incredible amount of fire. Orly just gets mad, yells, and responds with disrespect.
i saw it, it was great. olberman has one thing in common with orly, they are both commentators on mainstream news. orly is an idiot who likes sticking loofahs up his ass while eating falaffels, while olbermann is one of the most intelligent, quality commentators today.
olberman just doens't embarass himself on a routine basis so he doesn't compare to billy at all. There's nothing wrong with being a right wing TV guy, theres something wrong with being a hot-tempered idiot/asshole right wing TV guy.
I agree completely. They are political hacks that are hoping to indoctrinate those who can't think for themselves, and I've had about enough of that bullshit. Jon Stewart agrees as well, watch this, it's long, but you'll get the point in just a few minutes:http://youtube.com/watch?v=aFQFB5YpDZE
The difference between Keith and Bill-O is that Keith is absolutely brilliant. Seriously, writing like that is not the easiest thing in the world to do, and there were weeks last year where he'd come up with two or three comments. Agree with him or not, you pretty much always have to concede the fact that he makes one hell of an argument. He really is pretty left-leaning though. I saw the comment tonight, it had much of his usual fire and was as always straight to the point. I agree with him on the Democratic leadership's seemingly endless ability to back down from a fight, but I'm not big on the withdrawl deadline idea to begin with.
