Snow fence users HELP

so i bought snow fence for my yard setup, but it doesnt seem to slide very fast, whats wrongs? its on a downhill, do i need to put like 2 layers of it on top of one another? will it slide if its over dirt? thanks

i put two layers of it over the top of carpet then some soapy water on that, it slides super fast but your edges will start to cut it up eventually, when it comes down to it astroturf is better

iiii use carpet
I definitely wouldn't let dirt smear on it or let it get through the bottom of your run in,
