Replying to Help: would this work?
Well this summer I want to build just a normal pvc rail. The only problem is that I am very, very limited in space. I have no backyard because I have a pool in it and everything is cemented over and my front yard is maybe 15' x 15' if that...So i have no room for a drop in or anyhting BUT all i want to do on it at least until I get snow is practice switch ups and sliding unnaty.
So, here is what I want to do to solve the speed issue. Make each stand that stabilizes that rail smaller and smaller so the rail becomes a down rail. Then I would plan to just step on it by stacking up some wood or crates or whatever. So for example the starting support leg would be maybe 1 and a half feet from the ground then the next one maybe 3/4 of a foot then the last one maybe 1/4 of a foot.
Then in the winter I would just replace the smaller legs with legs of the same size and use it as a normal rail this isnt a problem i have the tools to make the legs removable.
But my question is would making a step on down rail work?
