I play lacrosse. The MLL isn't real lacrosse. The College and highschool game is where it's at. The MLL is just an offensive showcase. Defense doesn't mean shit. The shotclock also changes the game totally. Just my opinion, but I like college lax better than MLL. And Don't get me started on box lacrosse.

Anyone see any of the U-19 world championships? I saw some video footage from my friend. Holy shit. Matt Danowski is nasty.

I agree with Gene. The MLL is crap compared to the college game. The players may be better, but it doesn't have the same feel. I am a huge lacrosse fan though, so i support the idea. I've got a proton that i strung with hard mesh and a krypto pro, team issue cascade Cpro, rhinoskin with football liner, stx arm guards, team issue brine ventilator pros, no rib pads. I play midfield, but will move to attack for next season due to the knee injury.

I play too. Im a Middie. I dont think the mll is that bad. Its just differnt. The guys at that level just have so much skill it makes it great too watch. And the boston Cannons play in my town so its great to see play at that caliber.

the mll does have some pretty shitty rules. and i do agree with FRZgene- collage is better. i play with a Warrior Razor, strung with hard mesh, on a Brine F15. that works pretty well for me. i also have an Edge that i play with sometimes.

i play.. girls, in high school, but we didnt have a girls league before then, so i must have played guys for 6 years in the town league, and with my dad for still a few before then. he played in college, so getting my brother and i in on the sport was a big deal. i still rather guys, though, they let you PLAY a lot more, girls the game stops every couple of seconds for some sort of penalty.. if you can run, and carry the ball, you're set.. pathetic. AS for the MLL vs. College ball argument, i think College is a lot more interesting, just because you tend to relate more easily, know a person on the team, or just know more about the particular school.. things you dont necessarily have in the MLL.

can we end this thread? there have been about 10 before this one. Yes, lacrosse is the great sport (without snow) on two feet, etc. College lacrosse owns. I play club for my school, but even that takes up too much time for me :D

I play at a private school in MD, in Baltimore, I love lacrosse and I have since I was 4 when I started to play. Good to see the game spreading. My friends played really well at the U-19 games, you should've been at the party we had after the win over team Canada.

Lacrosse aint that popular here in oz but my mate has a fieled next to his house where they play. We started blowing whistles while they were playing (like the umpires use) from behind his fence a few years back which kinda pissed them all off so the next day he had eggs all over his car.
