Loon Mountain, fuckin wicked pissah. i drive up every weekend from Lowell with my boys and we hit some rails and shit. Fuckin tight supah pipe too. i got like 3 feet of air it was so sick. I hit this booter once and my boy charlie was like "yo man thats too big" and i was like nah its cool and i crashed on it and all my boys were like yo guy that sucked
Whiteface is the best overall mountain in the east.their park is sick and The Slides are national ranked as the one of the best powder stashes in america(Skiing magazine)i grew up in plattsburgh and went there like 4 times a week when i was homeschooled.but yeah, whiteface is the best.
good god, i started reading that thinking it was a joke, but then i realized you were serious and i haven't stopped laughing yet... if you want some east coast powder watch a meatheads movie and go to any of those places (stowe, jay, etc.), if you want park you'll be better off in NH (loon and WV), but if you want an overall mountain it would prolly be somewhere in VT, Stowe comes to mind...
loon for park, but overall I prefer sunday river. it doesn't have as much vertical as other places but its big and has good variety. the parks are decent.
The park, it depends on when you go. In december it was temporaroly on the wanderer trail because there wasn't enough snow to open the terrain park or 90 percent of the trails.
In jan-feb they maintained rails really good but the table tops had much to be desired but good enough for some dudes to throw some cool shit.
March they got snow and everything but they didnt maintain anything it was basicly you ski over the bumps that oncer were jumps and theres just rails sitting out. me and my friend were basicly the park crew that month
