in my opinion it makes no sense for anyone to complain that fox news is biased (for conservatives) when every other national news network (ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN) are all liberal-based.
fox news is the only republican-based national news network and it has a right to be biased just as the liberal networks do
the fact is youre never going to get completely unbiased news from any national news network

My girlfriend no longer allows me to watch fox news because I yell at the T.V. every time Bill O'Reilly is on. The man can not be taken seriously I hope that most Americans see that he is a complete ass hole, racist, ignorant, puppet.
Every sentence that he produces is a complete contradiction.
That being said the argument that criticizing the inept administration is ok on small private scale and is somehow inappropriate on a public scale is completely unfounded and is at odds with everything that this country was founded on.
Just because Chris Rock or any other celebrity is not a political correspondent does not void their argument.
George Bush is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of people and it has been shown numerous times that his administrations is full of liars and thieves.
You have a voice learn the facts and don't let right wing fools like Bill O'Reilly scare you into thinking that you are somehow hurting the country or the troops by criticizing the president, even calling him an absolute fool.
Everyone says that other stations like CNN ABC etc have a liberal agenda. This is completely unfounded they provide unbiased news and also editorials on political issues. These are separate and shown to be separate.
Whatever you have heard it all before. Before you pick a side, if you even do pick, please try to educate yourself just a little bit. Read a book. TV is a horrible substitute for knowledge.

While I don't agree with everything Bill O'Reilly says, I can't say that I find him much if any worse than the left wing media. And yes, there is a left wing media. CNN and ABC do have a liberal agenda just like Fox News has a right wing agenda. Here's why: televised news is a business. Certain news will sell to certain people and therefore will bring in money and make for a successful business. CNN and ABC aim to sell to a liberal market. Fox News does the same for a conservative market. Does this make it right? Of course not. It is completely immoral and everyone giving out news with an agenda while claiming it to be unbaised fact may rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.
I don't see how you can directly connect George Bush with the deaths of thousands of people. I assume that you are reffering to the war in Iraq. George Bush sent troops to war in Iraq based on the intelligence provided which gave reasonable suspicion that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Besides, he can't just act alone on such matters whenever he feels. Remember congress allowed the use of force in Iraq so these deaths to which you refer are on congress as well. But maybe you know something I don't. Maybe George Bush has started a small scale haulocaust on the side and has gas chamber in the basement of the white house. If that is the case, then yes, I suppose George Bush would be directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of people.
We agree on the book reading thing.

Bill O'Reilly seems to have forgotten that there is a thing called free speech. They can say whatever they want. Chris Rocks quote was damn funny.

You are right all news is biased but I feel that CNN and other networks try to provide a more complete picture with less opinion than Fox. Fox goes for the gut shot reaction and rarely gives any news with out intense opinion and criticism of the left.
That being said I still feel Bush is responsible for the deaths of thousands. To start the Bush administration, in my opinion, holds the majority of the blame for not preventing the attacks of 911. Rice received a memo on her desk titled "Osama Determined To Attack Inside The United States" The first paragraph cited specific examples of possible Airplane hijacking. This was one of 3 briefs two of which she has no recollection ever reading. Bush was on Vacation 60% of the first months in office and spent less than 10% of his time in Washington. If you want to know more read the 911 commission report.
Katrina. There was no emergency action plan and the national guard was sent in to late. Lame funding was diverted away from the levies and federal support was denied until several days after the disaster. An inept FIMA director was in place and the whole situation was congruent with Bush's views on wealth in America. For god sakes the Finnish government sent more aid on the first 3 days than the US. Hugo Chavez president of Venezuela, sent several rescue helicopters and food supplies among other things that were turned away at the border under the direct orders of Bush.
War in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am going to summarize because there is so much shit that was mis handled.
1) Lack of adequate troop deployment in Afghanistan along with poor intelligence. By the way the man who supposedly perpetrated 911 is still on the loose.
2) Iraq had nothing to do with 911 as Bush media would have the world believe. There was no intelligence of weapons in Iraq and if there was the Bush government has not been able to produce even misleading intelligence.
3) War profiteering a crime that is punishable by death is rampant in Iraq including a outrageous 10 billion contract given to Haliburton in which several independent audits have found somewhere between 10 and 100 million of actual work completed. The remaining funds have not been located.
4) Government monopolies on defense spending have caused hundreds of billion of dollars of moneys that could have been saved on competition lost.
5) Blood for Oil? Wrong Iraq's oil fields are barely producing and it is unlikely that the US or the Iraq will ever profit from it.
There are so many more but the bottom line is Bush knew the intelligence he knew the problems with his plan and he continued anyway. Killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqies are thousands of American including my high school friend who was fooled into thinking he was helping the country, then betrayed by his own government.
He is a horrible if not the worst president and having him in office both terrifies and shames me as an American.
