so i am having some problems, when i click capture in final cut it just quits final cut?.....anyone know what the problem is?....

is your camera turned on when your trying to start the capture process? is FCX set up to capturing footage from your camera? I havent used express before but in FCP i went to EASY SETUP, and went from there. worked like a charm

so i finally go the capturing window to come up with Final Cut Closing, now it dosent seem to be detecting my camera.....i have it set to DV-NTSC

hmm...what are you running final cut express on? how much memory/ghz/hard drive space?
