My grandparents give me anywhere from 35-50 bucks to mow their backyard (less than half an acre on a riding mower).  It's awesome.

My summer job for the last 4 years has been maintenance at our ski area, which consists of doing the most horrid jobs you can think of to prepare for the season, such as re-running new electric to all the snowguns and shit..... I'm on the Mowing Crew so my job is pretty much to just cut grass.... There's all the shit around the ski area that needs to be cut, then like 5 HUGE yards that belong to the owner. I'd say the largest we cut is about 9 10 acres altogether. It's a bitch and there's a pond that claims mowers.

Ohhh, and why i'm posting at 4 in the morning??? Because work kicked my ass yesterday and I fell asleep at 6 pm, and just woke up..... I don't think I can sleep anymore. And we mow on Kubota Zero Turn Radius dank mowers.

one time i was mowing with a pushmower and i mowed over and underground bee's nest, and they got pissed off and flew up my pants. about 20 stings later i had my pants off and was running screaming to the saftey of my home..

well i was working for a grass cutting service (MY BRO) and he turned around in this guys driveway we went like 5 feet on his property and he started flipping on him my bro didnt say anythis back i would of fucked his day UP

DAMN SON, thats a sick tractor. personally I used to use the JD 5000 series. I used to mow at a golf course, so yeah, its was a shit load of grass...

This one time I was mowing someone's lawn and I came upon a dead fox.  I forgot to tell the owner about it and they apparently never saw it, because the next time I mowed it was a just a skeleton.  I was kind of traumatized.

I work for a lawn mowing company here in town, and we mow a shit ton of lawns....like, we probably mow 200 or so properties a week between 3 or 4 trucks...half houses, some businesses here and there, some huge ranching properties here and there. We run 36 and 48" Scag zero turns and we also have a 72" Scag turf tiger for one of our enormous lawns....

i'm doing 8-10 yards at 50-70 a cut. I use a toro zero turn with 62" deck so its goes pretty fast all the yards are 2+ acres.

i mow my old neighbors tiny ass lawn for $30.

    Not really funny, but one time I mowed over an underground rabbit nest accidentally so a bunch of baby bunnies jumped out of the hole and into the blade. Two of them were hopping around with half a head and their brains dragging behind them on the ground. The other three and the big mother were cut right in half. It was by far the most gruesome thing I had ever seen in person. I was kinda traumatized for about month. Oh yeah, and I got rabbit blood all over my feet, legs, and face.

i spend all my summers on the harvest, driving the combines and then ploughing. I get 5 grand (pounds) in 3 months, sorts me out for most of uni.

I you are after driving some serious kit then that is where its out, especially in america and australia

I cut down one of her two massive tulips in her flower bed.

I did not tell her.

I took the 20 bucks and ran

I usually make 15 bucks for abouuuuut 45 mins of work

i work for my buddies company and we mow and scape 3+2+4+1 so 10 lawns a week.

not to many stories its not exactly the most interesting fields of work you can get into. Im just doing it for extra cashhh

I landscaped last summer and this summer.

So I worked with crackheads (literally), and one of them really pissed me off a lot. He was annoying, retarded, and smoked crack.

So one day he's attempting to make fun of me and I just pointed out the fact that the only teeth he had were black and yellow. He then proceeded to mumble something, but because he has developed a speech impedement from all the crack smoking, he didn't get any words out. So he goes off to mow and doesn't see there's a bees nest in the way. He runs right over the bees nest and instantly is covered in bees. He falls onto the ground and starts rolling around and curling up in a ball. After I was done laughing hysterically and he ran away far enough I went over to see the damage and he got stung like 30 times. Fucking crackhead.

Another time he was being his crackhead self and he pissed me off. I don't know how many of you have ever used a weed whacker, but when you hit dogshit at the right angle...it flies far. He was on a mower and I was weed whacking and I waited til he got really close. When he did I stuck the weed whacker right in the dog shit and it flew all over him.

Moral of the stories...don't be a crackhead.

last year i had like 8, this year i only have 2. this one lawn i do is pretty big, buy they have hugeee dogs and i have to pick up their dog shit first, and i only get $20. thats one of the ones i got fired from though. it was a really shitty job so im kinda glad.

well my family owns a farm so we got a big john deere tractor and it kicks ass.. takes like 4 hours to finish the whole field, good money though..and for local lawns my dad has a ferris walk behind which is fucking huge
