it is about friendship.. i know its easy but i want some other points of view.. your philosophy of frienship... what kind of firend you are.. what you want in a friend..qualities of a friend... this cant be like i want a friend who will go out and pound beers with me or smoke blunts its for a highschool english class so think like a little kid again
when you're a little kid, friendships are usually a pretty selfish endeavour. you haven't really realized the give and take part yet. generally, kids just use eachother so they have something to do as well as a way for positive reinforcement. they try to show off so other people tell them they're cool or something. i don't know, i don't really have time to develop that thought, just something to think about.
Holy shit. Right now I'm writing a paper about friendship. I'm using A Seperate Peace by John Knowles as a primary source and looking at the frindship between Gene and Finny. If you find any good shit on friendship hook me up.
that is a very good book. As for friendship, you might mention how hard it is to find a good friend and how much harder than that it is to keep one. I'm only 19 and already I have had and lost several very good friends. This is not because they died or anything like that, but because they live so far away and I never see them. It is very easy to lose touch with friends. It really makes the world seem unfair that these wonderful people come into our lives and then before you know it they are gone. If you are very lucky, you will be able to pick up right where you left off, but that is rarely the case. I'm not sure where I was going with this.
