Moving to Cali

that completely sucks. ill be skiing at big bear i think. is it any good?

Depends what your into. If you like park, then of course its going to be good. most of the entire mountain is in fact one big park. If you're not so into park, then its probably not the best place for you, because its by far not the steepest on the may either. (they do have some wicked tree shredding in the canyons there though, when there is enough snow.)

Go to Mt. High, Snow Summit, and Bear if you want park. Skip all three if you want anything severely steep and hit up Mt. Baldy. You will be impressed if you do. (Or just hike up Mt. Waterman. They have some fun stuff up there as well and you can basically build your own backcountry booters)
