How do u rotate an image on photoshop, without moving the canvas..

select what you want to rotate, move the cursor to an outside edge of the selection until a little curvy arrow shows and then you click and rotate any direction your heart desires..

have it on its own layer.... select it then Ctrl+T and rotate.
