Line Ski Measurements

How are Line's ski measurements compared to others? Do they run long or short. I know Rossis run a little shorter and k2s a little longer. Measurements often seem weird especially with twins. Just got a pair of Line Prophet 100s after my ghetto ass Nordica Beast 92s. Lets hear it...

Rossi BC WRS run 3cm shorter, if I'm not mistaken Seths run like 3 longer.

makes sense..

I put a pair of 177 Volkl Walls against a pair of 174 K2 Apache Recons

and the recons were longer by a couple cm - i just dont get why there sin't a universal way of measuring, just like why there isn't a universal flex rating standard for boots..

e.g an 80flex in a Salomon would be equivalent to a 100flex in a Lange..fucking stupid.

^^ yep 2cm off all line skis i have 176 rossi scratchs and 178 line skogans and they are the same length

Depends on the length as to exactly how short they run, but they definitely do run short.

my 04/05 line ep pros were around 3 cm shorter. i don't know about the new lines though. there was another thread that had some people say that they are longer than the written number.

Seems that Line measures their skis by running length, like k2s. So hopefully this means they'll run a few cm longer.

nah my 177 line 1260's are just barely bigger than my friends 169 fuji's so line is a lil small and k2 is a lil big

Line Skis are shorter than they measure. Line measures the entire ski, along the contours of the tip and tail; so a 187 will measure more like a 183.

^yeah that sounds about right, but 1260s are older. from what i've heard on here, i think the new lines are like k2s, a couple cms longer than stated.

can someone who has old lines and lines from 06/07 confirm this?

wouldnt they be 4cm shorter for line? The scratches come in a 174...unless you mean the sprayer bc?
