so i unplugged my ipod last night while it was in my computer and said "do not unplug." i did this because it froze my computer while i was trying to put about 200 songs on at once. after i pulled it out an image of a folder cam up on the screen and then the apple symbol, now all the music is gone. when i plug in my ipod to try to put it back it says it cannot read the contents of my ipod and to use the ipod software updater application to restore it to factory settings.
what does this mean? where do i find it? should i just give up and buy a zune?
Try holding down the center button and menu for like 5 seconds when it is not plugged in. If that doesn't work go to a friends computer and try to plug it in. What gen is the iPod?
Just go to apples website and search for the Ipod section. Then look for the IPod problem section. Apples helps sections are so incredibly well made that you shouldnt have any problem figuring it out.
